Program Structure

Fiitercise is a recreational non-competitive pre-school sports program specifically designed for children 3 to 6 years old. Classes introduce your pre-schooler to the wonderful world of sports in a fun, structured environment where they can develop their love of sports.

Children learn many physical fundamental skills that will form the foundation of their future engagement into specific sports. Skills such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching will be learned and refined by your child during the course of the program. In addition to the physical skills, the program will enhance your child’s mental fitness and cognitive and problem solving skills.

Fiitercise is a 45 minute class that takes place once a week at various Kiddiwinkie locations. It is a rolling 10-week program. Fiitercise is available to Play Group (PG), Pre-Nursery (PN), Nursery (N), Kindergarten 1 (K1), and Kindergarten 2 (K2). Generally with the large enrolment numbers from each grade level, there are five separate classes. However in the case of lower enrolment numbers, PG and PN classes will be held together and K1 and K2 classes will be conducted in the same fashion.

Fiitercise is a specially designed course with hours of research, years of sports knowledge, and careful time and attention invested in constructing a suitable, yet challenging curriculum to push your children’s physical intelligence and aid in development of proper motor skills. The class is structured around a specific sport for a 3-4 week period, with drills to help develop a skill set for that particular sport and then eventually engage in game play. In addition to sports specific activities, every course will include an ever changing obstacle course to engage the physical and mental capabilities of the children as they venture through a challenging set of obstacles testing their problem solving and motor skills.
